Fortnite has been redecorated for its Fortnitemares 2021 event called Wrath of the Cube Queen, and the new Ghostbusters NPC is just one of several new characters on the island for the spooktacular two-week event. You’ll want to make time to meet the Containment Specialist because completing his five-part questline will grant you 150,000 XP and an exclusive Ghostbusters back bling. Here’s where to find the Fortnite Ghostbusters NPC and what his quests entail.
Where To Find The Ghostbusters NPC In Fortnite
The Containment Specialist can be found at Camp Cod, which is the small island off the southeast shore of the main Fortnite island, Apollo. Camp Cod now hosts two NPCs, but the Containment Specialist usually spawns in one of two buildings on the eastern side of the area, so check in those to meet and greet the Ghostbuster.
Once you do, you’ll initiate his Ghostbusters: Afterlife questline inspired by the upcoming movie. His five quests must be completed in the order shown below, but doing so will net you those aforementioned rewardsVenir de Tragamonedas Gratis Online. Here’s the full Ghostbusters questline:
- Deploy Seismographs in Misty Meadows or Catty Corner (3) – 30,000 XP
- Exterminate mini-Pufts with a pickaxe in Sludgy Swamp, Lazy Lake, or Retail Row (3) – 30,000 XP
- Retrieve mechanical parts by destroying cars (5) – 30,000 XP
- Place Ghostbusters signs in Dirty Docks, Holly Hedges, and Pleasant Park (3)
- Deploy a Ghost Trap (1)
We’ll be updating this guide hub with more Ghostbusters guides very soon. In the meantime, take a look at those linked above and follow along here for a few of the simpler guides.
For example, to exterminate mini-Pufts with a pickaxe in Sludgy Swamp, Lazy Lake, or Retail Row, simply head to any of those locations and look for the mini-Puft dolls located in bunches around each location. Swatting away any three of them will complete this challenge. Mechanical Parts are back and you can use your pickaxe on cars to retrieve them. They fall off as cars take damage and then they act as floor loot. Collect five of those to complete the challenge.
Catch up with the rest of the Wrath of the Cube Queen event today, including the complete Ariana Grande questline.
