Update: This particular visit from Xur has ended, but here’s where to find Xur and what he’s selling for October 15-19.
As always on Fridays, Xur has reappeared in Destiny 2 with another slate of Exotic and legendary items for purchase, and we’ve got the rundown on all the details you need to know for this visit. It’s a great time to visit the mysterious merchant to stock up on Exotics. With Trials of Osiris back this weekend and Grandmaster Nightfalls on the menu, there’s a slate of endgame content for you to enjoy this week on both the PvP and PvE sides, and some new Exotics or legendary weapons and armor might just make it all a bit more manageable–though don’t get your hopes up too high for an exciting batch of items. Here’s where to find Xur and what Exotic weapons, armor, and legendary items he’s got for sale from now until the weekly reset on Tuesday, October 12.
Xur is in the EDZ, so start out at the Winding Cove landing zone to find him this week. His weapon this around is Telesto. Hunters can once again pick up The Bombardiers leg armor; Titans get MK. 44 Stand Asides leg armor; and Warlocks get Winter’s Guile gauntlets.Venir de Tragamonedas Gratis Online
There’s nothing too remarkable in Xur’s inventory this week, although Telesto is a great deal of fun, particularly if you’re a Halo player who’s fond of the Needler. Both the Hunter and Titan Exotics come in with some nice stat roll totals, with 65 on The Bombardiers and 66 for the MK. 44 Stand Asides. Warlocks get the short end of the stick on that front, as this Winter’s Guile roll comes in at just 61 total. In terms of legendary armor, you get the Vigil of Heroes set. At least for Titans, you shouldn’t expect anything great in terms of rolls; they’re well-balance for the most part, but the sheer totals aren’t especially high.
The legendary weapons are also nothing to write home about, although the Gnawing Hunter auto rifle with Multikill Clip and Zen Moment will help you chew through enemies. He also has a Wishbringer shotgun with Field Prep and Opening Shot, as well as a Range masterwork.
Xur Location
To find Xur, first spawn at the Winding Cove in the EDZ. Hop on your sparrow and make your way north, past where the nearby public event begins, and find your way to the crashed Fallen ship on the hillside. To its right, you’ll find Xur hanging out with his slate of items–either make your way up through the cave system to the left or jump on the rocks on the right to reach him.
Xur returns to the solar system every weekend in Destiny 2, starting with the daily reset at 10 AM PT / 1 PM ET each Friday. The thing is, where he’ll land isn’t known until he actually arrives. Xur can hang out at one of several locations, including in the Tower Hangar area, on Nessus in Watcher’s Grave, and in the Winding Cove area of the EDZ. Xur’s inventory also changes each week, so it’s worth revisiting him on the weekends for new weapons and rolls on Exotic and Legendary armor. You can visit him any time between his arrival Friday and the weekly reset at 10 AM PT / 1 PM ET the following Tuesday when Xur departs the solar system.
Xur Exotic Items
Xur has Telesto as his Exotic weapon this week, and it’s absolutely worth picking up if you don’t already have it. Although it might be best-known for how frequently it breaks, causing Bungie to have to take action, it’s just a fun, effective fusion rifle that you’ll want in your collection, particularly if you’re a PvE player. He’s also got the usual slate of one piece of Exotic armor for each class, but if none of those are what you’re looking for, he’s selling an Exotic Engram that you can buy to decrypt into an Exotic you don’t already own from a select pool (be sure to preview it to see what you can get).
You can only buy one of these Engrams per week across your account, and it’ll decrypt into something for the class that buys it, so be sure you’re logged into the correct character before purchasing. Alongside all of these items is the Xenology quest; this is how you can earn an Exotic Cipher, which is used to buy Exotics from the Monument to Lost Lights in the Tower. The quest is simple but time-consuming, asking you to complete a bunch of strikes or win matches in Crucible/Gambit.
- Exotic Engram — 97 legendary shards
- Telesto — 29 legendary shards
- The Bombardiers — 23 legendary shards
- MK.44 Stand Asides — 23 legendary shards
- Winter’s Guile — 23 legendary shards
- Xenology quest — free
- Legendary weapons and armor — 50 legendary shards, 1,000 Glimmer
Each week, Xur offers one Exotic weapon and three pieces of Exotic armor: one for each character class. The inventory is random, as are the stat rolls you can expect on each of his armor offerings, so if you’re looking to fill out your collection or if you’re hoping for better versions of Exotics you already have, it’s worth visiting him. Xur also brings an Exotic Engram, which is guaranteed to drop something you don’t already have, if there are Exotics missing from your collection on that particular character. But that doesn’t include Exotics you have to earn through activities, including the new Exotic armors added each season, which can only be claimed from Legendary or Master Lost Sectors.
